WXtoImg 2.10.11 Release Notes:

WXtoImg 2.6.9-5 Release Notes:
  • Backed out several changes to PLL code,

WXtoImg 2.6.9 Release Notes:

  • Improved digital signal processing for better image quality,
  • fixed excessive blue cast seen in vegetation enhancement with some settings,
  • illumination compensation applies maximum gain under no-light conditions,
  • minor improvements in Windows XP Internet time setting,
  • enabled Internet time settings under Windows Server 2003,
  • fixed eroneous 'error writing output file' message,
  • fixed internal error 'file exists name',
  • fixed crashes in command line program,
  • Show All setting can be saved in registered versions, and
  • fixed many other minor bugs and error messages.
  • Version 2.6.9 may require some users to perform image slant correction (if you experience images slanted or creeping in one direction, then see Help->Required Calibration-> Adjusting the Sampling Freqency (Slant Correction).)

WXtoImg 2.6.8 Release Notes:

  • WXtoImg is best run by a user with administrator privledges on Windows XP, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003,
  • version 2.6.8 enables the Windows XP Internet time service at installation and changes the parameters (to disable this service see Options -> Internet Options),
  • allows illumination compensation on vegetation enhancement,
  • fixes problems with out of memory errors and large swap files,
  • fixes saving of maximised window size/position on Windows,
  • adds rotor pre-position (75 seconds before start of recording),
  • adds BC780XLT-NoDoppler receiver control,
  • fixes AR3000 receiver control, and
  • shows 4 decimal places for frequency for NOAA 18 on 137.9125.

WXtoImg 2.6.7 Release Notes:

  • Fixes a problem with computer control for NOAA 18 with the RX2.

WXtoImg 2.6.6p3 Release Notes:

  • Adds the vegetation enhancement into web page building enhancements (see File->Record->Web Page Options->enhaancement to use.) Allows current NOAA 18 images to be presented alongside MSA, MCIR, etc.
  • Uses the vegetation enhancement if MSA and MCIR fail in automated mode when "Show MCIR when MSA fail on screen" is selected in File->Record. **
  • Removes embedded TLE's from published web page images as required by Space Track.

WXtoImg 2.6.6p2 Release Notes:

  • Supports the new 137.10 and 137.9125 MHz frequencies on all supported receivers. RX2 users must upgrade the PIC microcontroller using either the GEO-PIC or the Rigsat RX2 PIC. Hamtronics R139 users will need new crystals. Timestep PROscan users will need to contact Timestep for information on obtaining new crystals. R2FX users may wish to download the configurator and run it to upgrade their receiver to pick up NOAA 18 when not using WXtoImg's computer control.
  • Provides computer control of the Timestep PROscan with i-interface. **
  • Provides support for the following rotor controllers: CX6DD, DL7AOT, EASYCOMM I, GS-232A, LVB Tracker, RC2800, SAEBRTrack, SatDrive, and Satellite Tracker Jr. **
  • Fixes WAV file header length (for use with other programs) when recording is manually stopped.
