WXtoImg: image from scanner: MCIR map colour IR

This image was made using an unmodified Uniden UBC9000XLT scanner, no preamp, a home made PHQFH antenna, and processing using the standard edition WXtoImg software (version 2.4.11). Note that standard edition upgrade key enables improvements that make images like the one below possible from narrow bandwidth receivers (most scanners and communications receivers).

The following image of New Zealand was made using WXtoImg's MCIR map colour IR enhancement (version 2.4.11 Standard edition) from a NOAA 17 pass on 11 April, 2003 UTC.
